A blogger, photographer, and an active college student
Andrew attends the University of Vermont, majoring in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. In his free time, he enjoys doing anything outdoors. He is a member of the UVM Men's Ultimate Frisbee B team and the ski and snowboard club. He is also an avid member of the UVM running club. When he is not outside exploring Vermont's beauty, you will probably catch him giving tours about the university. You can also find him on campus and in the greater Burlington community interviewing different faculty and students in the College of Education and Social Services which turn into profile stories on their news and events page.

Outside of UVM's clubs and jobs, Andrew loves shooting film photography with his mom's old film camera, documenting his life up in Burlington, VT. The excitement of receiving a roll of developed film without any idea of what it contains is why he keeps shooting. That element of having to wait to see your reward is a feeling that never gets old.

Andrew also has a passion and drive to educate others. In the past couple of years his views about education have shifted, and so he starts to see himself working at a non-traditional school once he graduates college. He can't picture himself working at a school in a traditional classroom setting. With his fascination in the complexity of humans, his passion and focus recently has been providing people a voice to express themselves through his photography and the profile stories that he continues to write. People have incredible stories that they need to share. All they need is a listener...

This blog is a place to create a community that loves to challenge and question in life. These posts are about the lessons Andrew has learned in his first 20 years of life, interesting thoughts he has during his long showers, a time to reflect and be grateful, etc. Everyday for the month of June, Andrew will be writing a blog post and publishing it on this website.
